Daryl Funk : "Heart"
Daryl has been designing and building bikes since the ’80s, and founded Funk Cycles back in 1989. Daryl was an early pioneer in the use of titanium flex plates to provide rear suspension; our efficient and elegant La Ruta design is the culmination of that work. Today, he divides his time between Funk and his philanthropic work with Zambikes.
Matt Dahman : "Head"
Matt has been involved with Funk Cycles since 2012, leading, organizing, and representing the racing team. Lately, Matt’s role has expanded and he now leads Funk’s sales and operations. Matt has a true passion for Funk, the sport of cycling and its community, and he looks to share that passion with every customer and partner of Funk Cycles.
Craig Sata : "Hands"
Craig is the welder and fabricator at Funk Cycles. He has over 15 years of experience building with titanium, and has built every Funk customer frame since 2009. We’re extremely proud of the uncompromising quality and attention to detail that he puts into every frame that he builds. Craig handles all parts of the construction, from customizing geometry to suit each individual customer, to cutting and mitering the tubes, and laying down perfect welds.
Dave Muscianisi : "Bum"
Dave has been with Funk Cycles since 2006. He has guided many customers through the entire process of ordering a bike. Dave has been riding and racing bikes for over 20 years, and has the knowledge and perspective to discuss any aspect of the bikes in the Funk lineup.
