The Taiga

Our hardtail mountain frame for 29+ wheels, the Taiga is built with a chainstay yoke made from 6Al/4V titanium plate, which gives the bike’s rear triangle exceptional lateral stiffness. The design also allows ample clearance for a 3.0″ tire with either a boost or super boost chainline. The Taiga is named after the great coniferous forest that makes up over 29% of the world’s forest cover and circles the globe at high northern latitudes. Our take is this is a bike that you will enjoy riding anywhere, and will encourage you to explore new and remote places. With its 29+ wheels (roughly 30.5″ x 3″), the Funk Taiga is an extremely versatile and fun bike to ride in any conditions.

Geometry

This is the baseline Taiga 29+ geometry.  NOTE:  ~80% of all of our frames are Custom Geometry!  As part of the process we will work with you on a geometry that suites what you are looking.  There is NO CHARGE for Custom Geometry!
