The Uemura 197

The Uemura 197 (named after Naomi Uemura, a great Japanese explorer) is Funk’s next step to going even bigger.  This platform is designed with the explorer in mind.  Built around a 197 rear axle, the bike can take up to a 5.05 rear tire (depending on rim width). Additionally, this bike is built standard with sliders, giving the rider the ability to fine tune the chain stay lengths based on the tire / rim combination, as well as to run it single speed!  Fat biking is about breaking through the limits that mother nature can bestow on us, but the Uemura 197 is designed to meet those challenges head on.
